So like the current rates honestly I love you >.<♥I love you >.<♥I love you >.<♥I love you >.<♥ for how many cores you have to use. I dont think it should be easy to plus, but the fail rates at even +3-5 are stupid. And you should be able to fail to +0 so it can be used for crafting perhaps? All I'm saying is if they couldup the rates by about 3-4% for each lvl it wouldnt be huge difference but be slightly better. I think its absolutely ridiculous if you spend like 30 cores and end up to exactly what you started.

ikr?
Failing +7 with x3 ECH, but going to +9 with x3 UCH is ridiculous.
The success rate of ECH compared to UCH is trivial. The only thing I see that it does, is if you fail to upgrade, but you used at least 1 ECH, then the item loses one upgrade instead of two.

+1 ... It seems its taking more cores to lvl down gear ... Or it can just be awfully bad luck using like 20 uch to get from +6 and failing to +3 and staying at +3 and +4 ...

It has random luck spikes at time, that's the only good thing I've seen so far. I +15'ed one of my tit kats with no fails :)
