About how hard/easy is it to random rate in a osmium armor helm?
i tried like 5 or 6 of them just for giggles and nothing yet.

If you got rate in every 5 or 6 helms everyone would be running around with a 7/40 by now. Rate in helms are pretty rare, which is why they're so expensive.

Ive tried 10-15 helms and orbs in the last few weeks worth randoming with no luck.
Ive tried a lame helm because it was the last of my crafts left unslotted with only 7/30 potential and...ding...got it. It's never going to get used either ha ha.
Its all luck of the draw dude.
I've gotten rate in a potential 7/30 and a potential 12/24 out of 6 helms. just depends on your luck.

if you buy and extend a 12/24 you should probably slit asap
i have them both and both are unextended also pay no attention to matri. we can't all afford to buy pc forcy (:

It's all luck, yeah. When I was randoming tit helms for proof I got 6 rates out of ~75 helms but obviously that isn't a large enough sample to gather an accurate depiction.
Also I recall a situation from a couple of years ago Jus2Ez had stated that it took him like 30 something attempts to get his 7/40 armor.
