How Much Rate Should A Blader Have?

I'm a BL lv133 atm, im grinding to 140 in MF and doing Mission War to reach honor rank 8 to wear my bof +4's, but my question to the experience and high level bladers is "how much rate should a blader have?" I know that our G. Master and Completer skills gives us 10% rate and Death Tempest gives us 5% rate, double slash gives us 10% rate and assualt gives us 5% rate so they good choices for pvp and pve, so im wondering how much rate to get..... Brolic told me 40% without counting in the skills the gives rate and i've spoken to other bladers that told me they got 30% and aura will make up for the rest of rate... but we can stay in aura 24/7 of our cabal playing time. We are a dps class and worn't doing more criticals while dealing damage in and out of bm2 means more dps.... so what im asking is to state how much rate i need and if so what should be my setup for helm and accessories.... if i need board or pet with rate also? Please i need help!!!

honestly, i have 33% rate and i crit just as often as people with 40-45% b4 skills, long as u can balance ur char out then u should crit just fine/often

u have to think about bm2 as well .. in bm2 there is no rate gain (unless u use crushing blow)

This is the most illogical thing I have heard.

There are a few things you have to consider. If you are trying to get very high cd then you want at least 40 rate. I would try for 45. If you are going for a very high amp and very high base atk then your rate doesnt need to be much over 30. Rate and Damage are closely linked. There is no point in having 200% dmg if u crit 1 in 10 shots. Again there is no point in having 50 rate if u have 30-40dmg.

Aim for 40-45 rate with 140%+ dmg

Excluding skills, 40+ rate and 140+ cdi is ideal. Try to keep your attack over 950 (at level 150 or so) and your s.amp around 40 or so in pvp/war. It might take you a while to get this kind of a build, depending on what you have already.

um.. it is very possible to have over 40 rate and over 200 cd if u get 7/40 helm with 2 7/40 blades

Lol ouch, if your dual amp make sure you at least hit. 120 CD.
