That would involve the players that already have the installer downloaded constantly running a torrent client. Depending on the client Gameguard could have a tizzy fit with it, not to mention this game as little lag as possible to combo so you have to consider user bandwidth if the torrent client is set to high on upstream could cause a few to break combo and such. I don't fault your logic here there needs to be a few more trusted and tested sources for the client download like we had back when OGP hosted the game but even then OGP never truly kept those alternate sites up to date real well :/. But you also got to take into account possibility of the client being maliciously infected on a 3rd person server, so I imagine EST when they took over took into account availability and security to lean more onto the security side on it.
