FA solo ic1

hi, im lv147 fa and i was trying to solo ic1 for the first time. i got up to the flying magician woman thing, after it said "make me more excited" for the second time its spikes can 1 hit ko me at bm+aura.. does this happen to anyone?

yes it happens to everyone; it's called a "spike" attack

yup only way to avoid that is to use intuition or aod if you dont have those well than enjoy the lots of death like all of us :D

yeah spike happens bra bra, you gotta just keep pewpewing, keep it up tho, before you know it ic1 will be a breeze for ya

Most FA won't have 2800 until 150+, but his is a little bit low.

It's also very odd that she can 1 shot you. Spikes are a set amount of damage depending on how many people go into the dungeon. With 1 person she should only spike you around 1600 or so.

I suggest not going solo again until 150+, the max duration AoS helps a lot. Your m.atk/amp/cd are all pretty low too, work on +ing your gear.

ya im a 146 WA and i sumtimes will get 1 shot by the harpy to, when im in bm2

they say it gets harder if u take a long time to kill it.. idk if that is true but i have 1090 def and i bm2 and still the harpy 1 shot me .. so i guess its normal to be 1 shot

Defense does nothing against spike attacks, only hp and the number of people in the dungeon matter for them.

lots of hp helps. i know when i duo ic at least, i can handle the spikes just fine with only 380+ def (bloody spirit) and 5k+ hp w/ vamp of course

Same thing, all that matters solo on spikes is hp/vamp.

i soloed ic1, it took a really long time and would prolly do better if i attempted again,

just need hp, and levels...also your amp and cdi is abnormally low :)

on the harpy, I have around 3.2k and solo'd it just fine.

The trick is to remember that he spikes every 30 seconds, you need to have Art of Healing on before fighting him, and about 3-4 second before he spike, you cast greater heal on yourself. and you'll definitely survive that way.

i solo IC1 now with...145 crit dmg, 50amp,1124 magic attack lvl 169(forcium build)
