Can a mfs still go the distance...

The main argument seems to be that sfs is better then an mfs, the only saving grace the mfs has is cheaper items... I have an sfs right now, but I wanna make an mfs instead.
There is just something sexy about a nuker in heavy armor >.>

Sure a sfs will have an edge over an mfs (of the same items)... but I would like to think an mfs can atleast be almost as good as a sfs with the same items... right? :(

after shield splinter and shield grenade the dmg output is way too different

You can crit people with 1k+ defense for over 1k with lances and have 1k+ defense yourself, sounds pretty decent to me.

I just converted and while equivilant gears is 1/10th the cost or less, your damage output is far lower. It just isnt worth it. Hyp is pretty awsome but even he will tell you SFS is better. Also if you want to run FT B2F and high level dungeons the loss of def makes it painful.
