the cabal dmg calc,

does it mean the creator of this tool doesn't subscribe to IS? all other sword class has IS.

check the cast time (in combo) between the 2 skills, it's almost half, makin IS quite effective, imo. I dunno what other bladers think of it tho.

I always recommend Impact Stab (IS).

1. You need it to compete in pvp.
2. It is useful for dps combos against bosses, especially if you put VI at 20, then you almost need it for those kinds of combos.

Stab 'n Slash has an in-combo cast time of 1.3 sec...Double Rising is better than that skill and it has the same in-combo cast time of 1.3 seconds (heck Storm Grind, an even better skill, has an in-combo cast time of 1.3 seconds), which makes using Stab 'n Slash a big no-no in my opinion. But I won't allow myself to use even DR cause its dps (on monsters) is horrid compared to all my other skills, aside from Twin Moon Slash (as I recall it was a difference of about 300 dps between DR and the next best skill below Grandmaster I use (SG) with my character's setup).

As a side note, Stab 'n Slash on my character has about 300 dps less than Double Rising, (600 less than Storm Grind), which makes it garbage in my opinion. The only skills that I recommend that have less dps than SG are Blade Scud (level 9) and Twin Moon Slash. Also, Death Tempest has less dps than SG 20 until you put DT at 15, for those curious.
