i was just wodneirng if it charges tax cuase i purchased a 25 visa gift card to get some ecoins

so i go home and enter all my stuff, and theirs no option for 2,500 ecoins. so i just figure i pay 2000 and pay the remainder on the other 500 ecoins.

the 2000 worked, but when i tried getting 500ecoins it didnt allow, me it said somehting on the lines of "you cant use this" or something.

so i was just wondering if they charge tax?? cuase im going to buy another one, but it looks like i have to get a 50 dollar one, or higher...to get 5000

First of all, dont waste 75 dollars on a game....seriously, you could buy groceries for a single person, maybe two people if you're lucky, for a month or two. spend it on something worthwhile.......but. if you're really serious on this, then yes, there IS tax. it's like buying something from any other online store. PayPal automatically takes the sales tax of your area and applies it to your purchase. So make sure you take that into account when you buy it. 50 dollars isnt gonna get you 5000 ecoins cause it wont pay for the tax

To answer your question....No, they don't charge sales tax. Buying 1000 ecoins costs $10.00 USD. (not $10.00 plus tax). I think the problem you're having is actually with the gift card. Alot of those prepaid cards or gift cards have a small transaction fee. Usually they will charge $1.00 per transaction to use the card..but it will vary from card to card, so read the terms of the card you have.
