I have learned this in cabal PH, when I came back to visit my homeland Philippines, I used my relatives account to play his WI and he had no merga ring. With nothing to do I decided to run eod but then this shout of another player caught my attention coz he was cursing bout how eod wont drop the effing ring after so many runs and it was hillarious in filipino language... then two to three people replied back at him, they said that the best way to get the ring is to do all the quests of the dungeon. but before doing so, you got to abandon quest and retake it again (as if refreshing the process of taking the quest) if you have tried so many times.

Well I dont know if you guys tried doing it but it worked on me. to both the wiz in PH and my FA and fb here in cabal NA. my FA had a total of 10 runs, and my recently created fb (115 now) just had 1 run to get it.

Indeed. All chance. Got one on my 18th run on one character and 50ish on another. Currently farming on another character and ran 76 or so runs with no luck. Will attempt Miavii's suggestion and I'll see how it goes.

Update: 109 runs now. Still no ring. ]:
- - - - - 132 runs. Finally got it! Ran it normally w/o side quests.

I got it on my 136th run lololol. Saves me 2b for buying another rol+2, so fed up on runnin it many x.. I took the quest and run it for 80times then. Abandon the quest without retakin the quest and run it for 40runs and still no luck. Then retake the quest and got it for 16runs. I didn't took all the quest (axion golem) and i didnt open the final 4 boxes (from 3flesh golems to merg box) till i click the tomb for the last box (dnt open the last box yet till u open your 4 chest from 3flesh upto merg.) thats how i got it. Hope this would help. But i think it's all Luck. ^^.

I had to try this 3 times before I finally got it on my 120 bl, lol now cant continue leveling my noob FA nymore becus of the ring.

it shouldnt matter if you finished all the quest in the dungeon, because the chest drops are predetermined once you enter the dungeon (which is why 2 slot drop equips have no effect on it). considering the fact that the ring can drop more than once should tell you that it has nothing to do with quests and that it is a random drop.

I got mine the 4th time I ran eod since the update. Total eod runs on my character: 14. I hate eod.

yeh i ran it about 124 eod's to get mine i really thought i wasnt going to ever get it and said "this is my last eod run forever" ran it and when i got to the boss i started talking on the phone lazily killing mergaheph and BAM!!! it drops XD i was so freaking happy lol

Missa...I seem to have all the merg ring luck at the moment. I have found 3 myself and was helping on the 4th. 4 rings in 38 runs and I can SS my title progress if anyone doesnt believe me. We will get yours lady. Hang in there.

As always my services are relatively free for guildies. I just go for whatever drops to try and build up my whoping 10m bankroll im sittin on. So if im in there just fartin around tryin to make alz I will let you know!

I was doing all the EoD helper quests (there's like... 8?) and one of em is to kill 10 mergahephs. The ring dropped on the next run. (I didn't turn the quest in, just completed it).

i got it on my 2nd run on my LVL quest.. : D. i was so dissapointed that i didnt finished my frozen fighter coin drop coz i only got 46/50. so went back to buy a EOD map again. just to found out its a blessing to go back and finish it..woolaa.. i got megaherp's ring drop on last boss chest in return. now that's what u call Destiny.

One time i killed the chest and I was watching the "item" fall in midair, it was an item I have never seen before (it was in midair so it didnt have the name above it yet, so i got super excited in the fraction of a second) only to find out it was a belt. SLDJKFLSK:DFJLASHDJKSDFJKh

it took me about 15 or so runs to get the mergaheph ring

i did what i saw on some random youtube video of how some guy debuffed the legendary chest and the ring just comes out so i just did exactly that and then first try it comes out but i HIGHLY doubt debuffing the chest makes any difference it was just complete luck

So I was doing my 100 rank up quest on my newly made and then decided that instead of waiting for ice babayagas to respawn, I might as well try to finish the boss and guess wut? My first run, there it is. All my 4 characters have it now LOL merga loves me :)

this happened to me lmmfao! but @ merg. also, the flesh golems don't drop the ring. it drops from the red mergaheph legacy chest and it's called.... something stupid. Ring of Darkness? or something.

Ummm Could u mean the Ring of Evil??? and btw 100+ runs retook quest 4 times still no luck.. but got enough coating kits to make my bike +6. i mean come on Blazelord loves me more then Merg does. Blaze at least gave me a bike and some Amp stuff Merg just UCH or nothing at all.

ive found it purely by random. deleted the quest and have gotten it numerous times after. enough times in fact to make me really disgusted at it. but is even worse having people shout for it offering a bil or 2 bil alz for it not realizing its character bound. if it wasnt could have made billions by now! >.>

I'm pretty sure this really works. I did this by accident on my FA. Typical newbie mentality. Can't complete a quest (merg) then you ditch it when you need room for another quest.

My process went like this:

1. Pickup merg quest.
2. Remove merg quest.
3. Pickup the 8 T helper eod quests.
4. Pickup merg quest.

On the FA it dropped on the 4th run. On my WI it dropped on the 18th run. It also dropped very early for my friend who did the same exact thing. In all 3 cases we finished the main story line quest chain before picking up the T helper quests too, not sure if this is relevant but it wouldn't hurt.
