Does the T-Point really work?

I bought and used a bb+ 30 days, but on the T-Point page, it still says I have 0. Does it all update at a certain time? Or is it really saving my T-Points in another way... or maybe not even recording? Or is it you're not allowed to afk for T-Points?

you need to be doing something and wether you move around or not, points don't record while you're in town.
