1. Turn off Anti Virus. For McAfee - Advanced Menu> Configure>Computer & Files> Turn off First 3....

I think its an "artimis..." file in the cabal folder that is being detected as a "TROJAN"..

&& I have the same problem.. wont open when clicked on "start cabal"

Edit1. I believe it gets quarantined because of an "artimis...." file with the cabal folder.. Its a "trojan"
