So about 2 days ago whenever i try to open Cabal, the mini-screen (the one that appears after re-instillation) appears and says 'download fail, try again'

and the few times that the start page does appear, the main menu, pictures, checkfiles button, etc. don't appear just the outline of the border.

I shut avast off, and add it to the exclusion list i've made my firewall exclude it and i've redownloaded the program a dozen times and nothing seems to work.
