Shadow Shield bugged?

was doing eod tonight and noticed that my shadow shield wasn't doing anything. the other person in my party was still taking damage instead of me.

or am I just misunderstanding the skill? (the way it reads to me I absorb XXXX amount of damage from the party instead of them taking it)

yea, you missunderstood the skill. its baiscally 3k hp more for all party members (if LVL 20) and the DMG will be shown as (misses)

If your party member is below finishing the lvl 140 rank up, cetain class skills similar to Shadow Shield will not appear for the party member.

Ones i know for cetain-
BL- Mirage Step, Party Buffs
FB- Earth Guard
WI- Is either Force Increase or their Defense Buff, SP Buff (Party Buff)
FA- their Defense Rate, hp, or magic attack buff (Party Buffs)
WA- Morale Shout (Party Buff)

Morale Shout works on a Lv 1 character. It's Fury Shout you're thinking of.

Nop. u wrong. We tested this skill. with my FS 146 lv. vs Bl 145 lv. With bM 2 + new Bl buffs + FA new buffs. BL kill me in les then 10 s. even i used AOD.
he even dont use BM2 skill. So AOD now is not so superb like u all think. + Shadow shield even in older was crapy thing. WArior cancel it with 2 hits. The major problem with Shadow shield is it instantly apsorb all damige. And then will be no avoided ataks from enemy and monsters. In another words with shadow shield = 0 defence rate.
, IN TG with My Bl when i find any FS with AOD i easy kill him. becouse he can't run away. :P

wa's fury and morale are both spirit buffs, it doesnt affect ss

I have no idea what is wrong with your AoD but when I cast it no blader kills me even in BM2. Only way that happens if I the blader has fury shout, field of fear, and panic cry. I'm easier to take down with those but I can still fight easy.
