Cabal Not working on Windows 7 64 Bit

you need to add cabal to your windows firewall with advanced security in the incoming and outgoing connections, that fixed my problem cause im on the same windows that you are GuardianEagle and on the outgoing have to click on the allow cause by default its blocked i hope this helps you out if you havent gotten in game yet

I tried that, I even shut down the firewall (Not the best idea) and it still did not work.

I tried installing it in safe mode and it brought up the update window. It still doesn't run though. This is what happens now.

This is the exact same thing I get. Seems like once you get to this point, you can't do jack.
