Screen Issues

Heya I just started playing Cabal last night, and when I went to fight a mob, the screen suddenly went up a notch in brightness, then went back down a couple seconds after. This happens every time I cast something offensive or attack. The screen remains the same if I just cast a buff on myself though.

The game seems interesting but I couldn't handle the screen flickering with each move I use. I made some screenshots but it doesn't show real well. I also didn't see any other posts that had this same problem so I'm sorry if this has already been brought up, I just didn't see it.

I'm running windows 7 64 bit home prem and a Nvidia 9800gt(drivers up to date), I installed straight on C drive and not in program files x86 to supposedly save any issues like other games. Other than this the game runs fine, so any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for the time.
