    Question Advice needed

Honest, not misleading, and well-informed advice please:

    Which stat is better?

    42 cr / 146 cd / 53 s.amp

    or

    47 cr / 156 cd / 46 samp

    or

    47 cr / 116 cd / 53 samp (with +46 attack)

    And are these 2 tradeable?

    Thanks in advance.

I'd go w/ option #1, because you'll only be losing 10 cdi from option #2 but gain 7 s.amp (7 s.amp > 10 cdi). As for the rate, I personally like to have 45+ rate, but any blader that has 42+ rate should be good.

I think 7 s.amp =< 10 cdi overall unless your crit rate is too low. You should find that to be true with high rate (over 45 without skills), if the opponent's defense isn't too high, but the difference would probably be hard to notice without doing a significant amount of testing.

I would go with option 2 myself, assuming the 47 rate excludes the rate from skills.
Options 1 and 2 are both very solid attack builds in general.

Edit: I'm beginning to understand why there are different viewpoints on crit vs amp.... It is a bit more complicated than I first thought. The short story is, option 1 is better than option 2 overall, but option 2 might be better for war/pvp since your opponent may resist crit rate.

You probably need higher crit rate (higher than is practical) and higher attack values than I originally thought to make cdi more useful than s.amp. I would still go with option 2, but that's mostly because I'm cautious of the rate reducing effects other players might have. With a good balance of crit and s.amp, for changes this small, 7 s.amp > 10 cdi in most cases, however, don't go pure amp unless you are only a boss hunter. You need a balanced mix, and you are pretty well balanced with options 1 and 2.

Hmm...differing thoughts here...i'd like to hear more ^^ but thanks so far.

If my price bases for those blades still hold true, I remember this much:

the 2 slot forci blade to be like 1-5b, the pc rate forci blade to be 1.7b, and the +6 s.amp to be 750m, then those 2 blades above shouldn't be too far away from each other in terms of price, say maybe 900m tops? I dunno. I haven't been in the blades market for quite awhile now.

i hate when people base amp and attack on just skills. its true that, for combo, a higher crit damage is mainly better (usually on high attack + skills), but bladers need a decent amp for their bm2 to break through a boss' def. also, amp makes fillers a lot more effective and increases their dps. overall id go with option 1.

    2nd option is best
    3rd option is 2nd choice
    1st option is worst

A bl naturally has a good base. and they can now hit 50 amp with a 3% pet. 50 amp with 1000+ atk, 45ish rate, and 140+ dmg is a decent combo at about lvl 150-159. As you lvl your atk should increase by about 20 every 10 lvls. GL with the build.

Without off of weaps, u need 5% from pets to hit 50% amp, or master pot or other sources like holy but those are outside of what u can consider base and permanent.

I'm going with option 2^^ and if i get a Tyrant ring (not keeping my breath tho, lol, looks like a merga ring drop rate wise, and what's worse is it'd necessarily be a party quest!), i can swap rings for 37/171. back in th old days when we had just 2 ring slots, 36%cr and up were ideal. We'll see.

    Thanks for the inputs.
