Does it give instant honor points?

I'm pretty sure it has a quest attached to it for the points.

Otherwise, people would have honor ranks up the ass.

My favorites are:

Plate of Glory III - HR7 or below, kill mergaheph in eod b1f and earn 45k honor points.
Plate of Glorry IV - HR7 or below, kill bladelord in VC and earn 55k honor points.
Plate of Glory VI - HR10 or below, kill a granite golem in FT b1f and earn 75k honor points.
Plate of Glory XI - any HR, kill centurion prideusin in aos b1f and earn 120k honor points.

imo, PoG > Mwar but i guess it depends what you like. If you have low honor and u can solo eod b1f then these will get u to HR7 fast.
