From having a large player base of mid lvl players it seems to be more prevalent along the easter time zone. People may say its a line issue but i play on 25m up/3m down line. You could say its my PC but lol yeah building or upgrading every 6 months lets not go there. this is EST's problem and they need to fix it. if not well then hopefully North and south Korea go to war and take out est in the process.
    it's probably neither,it's might just some douche-bags shutting down channels again for boss respawns

    I just came back to cabal 2-3 weeks ago so please elaborate. Are you saying people are hacking or flooding channels with multi-client to assure they get the bosses when they spawn. During the early morning hours It seems fine but once prime time hits the eastern seaboard and some central timezones begin to have issues to the point its unplayable. This leads me to believe its either a distribution node problem or a bandwidth issue on the main server itself. Most night the channels are virtualy filled to capacity which would make my second guess the most probable answer.

    Reguardless if the GM's were present and doing their jobs this issue would have already been acknowledged and an emergency maintance would be performed.

    2 days of premium wasted, pretty sure we will be compensated with a 1hr blessing bead

    You won't be compensated anything because it's your garbage ISP that's to blame. It doesn't matter if everything else is working fine for you, since the only common factor between you people is comcast, that is the cause of your problems. If cabal was to blame, then everyone, or at least most of the people would be affected.

    Could someone from the affected players do the following?

    RUN -> CMD
    In the DOS window type..

    tracert www.cabal.com - and post the result

    I asked about 20 different people in game I know what ISP they have, all of which are experiencing lag. About 50% have comcast the rest have verison or some local company so its not just comcast. This has also only started sinse the last M/A so its not comcast. This issue also only happens when the server is filled to near max capacity so its not just comcast. True comcast isn't the best ISP but there are to many variables for it to be comcast. Can it be a conflict with comcast yes but that is on est's end not our. Remember back to when the game switched from OGP to EST, half a dozen different ISP companies had issues getting verification emails to transfer their accounts for which EST had to make currections. This proves it is not comcast but EST's conflict with comcast and other ISP's.
