    Yes, yes........ Yes!

    Here's how you do it.


    Go to BI,GD, or DS, talk to NPC whoever the core alchemist, insert helm you want to slot along with 3 whatever cores that goes with it along with a slotted boot higher or lower than 1 grade of the main item.
    make sure you have a +4 or 5 to look at over the inventory as you will want to look as it shines and de-shines. Wait for it to shine 5 times and on the 6th bright shine just before it de-shines at the exact moment, if done correctly it will successfully slot hp in it.
    Use Katana to get m.atk.

    Thats the gist of it.
