lol a bot is a bot by any other name is a royal P.I.T.A not to mention if they got rid of GG they can get something else more effective and less aggravating

Note to self, a zombot which just farms lower maps for alz and doesn't have massive aoe and range is the same as a bot who is able to hit almost everything on a map? In an ideal world they would fix the GameGuard compatibility issues.

not at all arguing the differences between types of bots, they are all annoying imo but in my experience with GG from other games, it has been no more than a nuisance if they can fix the compat issues then all well and great but GG is generally responsible for their own modifications and they tend to be a bit mia on that aspect. thats all im saying

Seriously, am I the only one on these forums that ahsn't really had an issue with GameGuard? I mean besides the Chrome/Vent issue, which I've been able to work around.

It's working a lot better the XTrap did in my opinion. The alz spammers and zombot I can live with but those AOE hackers I couldn't, and now don't have to see them. Its either that or the makers of the hack programs no longer want to worry about making them for our version since EST is in charge.

I mean it's been what a month and no AoE hackers since the move....I'm happy.

from what ive read most windows 7 users are not compatible with GG
i know, myself, my computer (vista x64) is not compatible for w/e reason
it limits the community and many other games got rid of it, probly cuz they lose a lot of money from cash shop users like me leaving

I don't know I'm using a legit copy of Win7 Ultimate 64 bit that I recieved for going to a MS dev conference. Cabal has been working just fine for me since October 22nd.

Then again, then we were using Xtrap, and now we are using GG, but still it's working for me.
