Any tips for FA (T4)

Well I'm currently a level 156 FA.
I don't have the best gear (it's decent), but I'm working on it.

Generally, I am ranked in the top 20% of players for maybe the first 40 or so minutes, generally up until the point where there arn't many guardians to DPS and I have to start going for procs.

At that point, my ranking will often drop to the top 30%-40%.
Do you guys have any tips to maintain my ranking during the proc farming stages?

o.o ur a fa,u have range,u can pew pew from distance.ATTACK PROCS dont farm. ^_^

That's the problem though.
Whenever I go for procs, the other caps out-rank me.
And I don't farm :P

Going for the enemy and KILLING is more effective than just taking down guard (if you want to score high)

Well @Jone this is what you do...grab legacy pots..bm1 bm2 aura..kill the most procs you can...spam bm1 bm2 and aura...try to follow bringer or a tank..steal their kills...just hit procs with lances...and have your base at 1080+ 50amp 140+CD=you will hit about 3.8k crits on medium def people ..4kon WI FA with low def......but with a legacy weapon you will hit 4knormal crits....remember those legacy chest is where your power is.and watch out for those FB...with honor rank 16 and high CD...you won't take them easily...2kcrit with impact stab..rest you know how hard they hit..and watch out for debuffs...

Stats wise though, is that 2x 20% orb with an amp rune and amp on pet?

Dont bm2 and hit procs cuz you probably do no damage. FA bm2 is for guard door res only (if you dont have gear like han). As the guy above said pots are your strength. 15amp and 50 matk will make your damage stronger than a full gears fa with no pots. And try to use your range keep yourself as far from the crowd as possible, look at your allies, when a strong member of your nation jump in and hit the mod of proc, the proc will gather in 1 place for you to use cannon on. Also, jump in later after your strong member run out of the crowd and hit proc because at that time, proc mostly have like 1/2 hp left if u hit like 2 3 cannon they will all run or die. That how you get point . BTW point is not that important in war....
