    Lightbulb Helm st Deathblow 40% cd+15 VS Helm st Outrageos 7% amp 24% cd+15

    As title....

    which 1 is better ?


    actually i prefer more on war...

    ppl say dat amp gud on BM2 n CD suit on combo

    but i dunno which 1 is better.....

    can u guys gimme sum explaination on this situation i list below?

    or just gimme any suggestion.....

    1. Nation war non BM2
    2. Nation war BM2
    3. Kill Boss in dungeon
    4. PVE or lvling
    5. PVP ~ useless (crit = win) but just for my info....

    need u guys help on my situation...... thanks

    a 7 amp 24 dmg helm should be compared with a 41 dmg helm~

    They are fairly equal, the amp is stronger in bm2 only by a little bit. There was a test i've done, and from what I recall, the overall damage in the duration of 90 seconds between the two are like 3,000 damage difference, which can be easily made up with a terra lance after bm2 ends. (note this was against a 900 defense player).

    you can do further testing on your own with www.cabalc.com

    1. 41% dmg helm wins
    2. 7/24 helm wins
    3. 7/24 helm wins
    4. 41% dmg helm wins
    5. depends on your m atk amp, and your opponent's defense. You'll run into situations where x player with 1.3k defense and your 41% dmg helm dealing less than 7 amp 24 dmg, and you'll also run into situations where x player with 600 defense and your high base dmg x multiply skyrockets dealing hundred damage over 7/24 amp.

    7amp sounds good on paper

    but in the end dif is only 0.07x your total dmg output

    if a skill deals 500 damage non crit to player and x 0.07 = 35 damage increase. 35 on non crit is huge, because that's equalization of 70 critical damage, given that you have 50/50 rate. Not to mention critical APPLIES ON TOP OF AMP. if Amp was 0.07x of the original damage then it'd be overpowered.

    However, that's not how damage is calculated. It's M atk * (Skill AMP + ITEM AMP) + added damage. 7 amp is actually 0.07 of your M ATK! added to the bubble.

    Yes of course, in PVE against any mob that does not have uber defense (pluma, derk boss like defense). CD is stronger than amp.
    For example, 200% cdi
    a skill that deals 300 to high def boss like PLUMA 200% cd bonus makes it (300 * 300) = 900.
    A skill that deals 500 mobs that have lesser def than Pluma, with 200% cd bonus makes it (500 * 300) = 1500.

    A even better example would be, hitting stuff with like 0 def, like Fire gates in Ft1. I can crit 6k ish there with crit shot, but deals lesser damage (like maybe 5.5k ish with terra lance). but when it comes to high def boss like trolls, I can see crit shot dealing 2k's while terra going over 2.5k's

    To be honest, you'd get a better idea if you do the calculation yourself

    ive done calculating myself......

    the result show dat cd win on average dmg....

    but in other situation amp still win..... (bm2 on boss is da best for amp user)

    but not too big diffrnt....


    p/s : is it sum1 got slot rate 'catalyst' o u guys still use random style??
