    Lightbulb Port Forwarding

Can anybody tell me what ports I need to forward in order for cabal to work? I got a new firewall, and it appears to be blocking the game because I can't connect to the server. Please let me know! Thanks!

It's not the antivirus. It's the firewall blocking it. I need to forward ports in order for the game to work. Just got a cisco ASA 5505.

You initiate a connection to the server, not the other way around, so port forwarding is not required. You just need to modify the INBOUND ACL on your INSIDE(LAN) interface and the ASA will automatically allow that traffic to pass OUTBOUND on your OUTSIDE(WAN) interface. For home use, there's really no good reason any outbound traffic should be blocked.

P.S. I believe the port is 5112 but I dont have the game installed atm to check if its UDP or TCP. But you can confirm the port numbers by opening a command prompt and typing netstat -o,matching up the PID, and looking at the port number on the foreign address.
