Go with the CD weapon as long as it has something in the craft....2 slot, no craft isn't worth buying unless it's for crafting purposes....even if it's just 6% CD in craft it's better than nothing....just saying, you didn't mention if the CD weapon had craft bonus or not.

This. I've been using a +11 forcium blade 26 dmg (it's 16 dmg craft 1 slot, but basically same effect unless I somehow get an sehh) and it's been doing the job pretty well. The only thing I'd probably trade it for is a 40 dmg +15 sig, otherwise I'd just try to + it more.
