FB Mission Ladder Guide

Seeing how every FB I run into at mission ladder is pretty garbage, I'll be writing this guide for you since I need some challenge nomsayin'?
As for credibility issues, I played the top ranked FB for preseason and was overall ranked #3 for the preseason.

Before you start reading this, if you're more of a person to watch to learn rather than reading, then let me direct you to certain battles...

There are more in another broadcast, but way too lazy to go find it lol

So let's first start about the pros and cons of FB inside the arena:

Pros:
Good utility in terms of 1v1 prowress
Aura BM1 is godly
Has RNG silence with BM3

Cons:
Guard/ base flag taking abilities are severely lacking compared to other classes
Somewhat squishy in BM3
Root may fail time to time on higher tier people, leaving your abilities to chase somewhat limited.

Now, let's move on to the actual battle.
Your main goals as an fb should be as follows in order of importance:

1. Kill the other person
2. Kill a small guard
3. Kill the base flag
4. Kill the big guard

Now that we have objectives, let's start on how to start the battle.

1. As soon as the battle starts, buy the level 1 defense buff for 50 points.
2. Go aura AND THEN BM1 (this is important - going aura before going bm1 adds so much more attack)
3. Start working on one of the gates
4. If you get lucky, you'll be on the same gate your opponent was on
5. This part is pretty important as well, and needs you to know how to debuff and dash in combo
> start combo
> root combo, hard luck, (FOE + MF if the other person is a warrior/ fs/ bl) (darkness if other person is a wiz)
> finish the rest of your combo
> if they didn't die, you're doing something wrong or they completely outgear you or you had bad luck critting
6. Go for the small guard that was next to the gate you first broke in the beginning. (You don't want to wall yourself out)
7. Now if you killed the other person in a timely manner, you should still have around 20s or so of your bm1 aura up. If you didn't kill them, then chances are your root is back up and they haven't fully healed yet. (Unless they're an OP FA)
8. If you still haven't killed them, then they completely outgear you and you're probably going to get raped as soon as your aura bm1 wears off.
9. Go bm3 and make sure lightning blade is on.
10. Go have a man up fight with them and pray your silence procs on bm3
11. If you're about to die, root and go to the other small guard and kill it
12. It's all on you from here. Go aura + bm1 one more time and try and get the kills in.

TL;DR, GO AURA + BM1, FACEROLL PEOPLE.
There is no BM in this game that can compete with FB aura BM1.
