    Ep. 10: Balance of Power --- Information

    Ep. 10: Balance of Power --- Updates so far

    Firstly, this information is a compilation of the past few months of update notes from Korea Cabal translated by Mr. Wormy. Please see his site for additional information and images. I have compiled and left out stuff that will not concern us since it has already been addressed or fixed. Since Ep. 11 just came out in Korea, these should be pretty close to the complete Ep. 10 notes. Enjoy!

    1. Items

    • Added new item: Effector.


      - Enhances certain skills (2 currently for each class):
      - BL: AoF and Int
      - FA: AoS and QM
      - FB: MF and AoC
      - FS: MB and AoD
      - WA: BS and PC
      - WI: AoFC and SS
      - Effectors have no effect initially and must be Enlightened with a Mirror of the Eye.
      - Mirror of the Eye have 3 grades: Bronze, Silver and Gold

      - Higher Grade MoE yields better effector stats
      - 3 stats can be revealed: Skill Cooldown, Skill Duration, and Skill Stats
      - 2 Effectors can be equipped, one for each skill.
      - Cannot stack the same skill effector.
      - Effectors apply automatically to the skill regardless of skill level in all locations except MB.
      - Altered stats of the skill will be colored differently
      - Bronze and Silver can be requested via Amity System (no lvl req) with the correct materials
      - Bronze: 5x UCH + 5x UCHH
      - Silver: MoE Bronze + 10x Effector Core (Piece)
      - Gold can be found in dungeons and maps from IC+ and PF+ respectively
      - Effectors are found in the same locations.
      - Added in AH under Skill Items: Effector and Enlightening Effector catagories


    • Added new items: Account Sealing and Unsealing stones:
      - Applies to Weapons (red), Armors (blue), and Bikes (green)
      - Item Shop purchased.
      - Seals an account-binding item for tradeable use just like a Pet Sealing Kit.
      - Requires an Unsealing Stone to unseal, unlike Sealed Pets.
      - Eliminates the need to Account Transfer items for a lower price.

      Sealing Stones: Unsealing Stones:


    • Bike Changes and Additions:
      - Extreme Upgrading on Bikes
      - Limited by bike grade: Blue – 1, Rw3 – 3, and PW5 – 5
      - Fees are 20m times the upgrade level going to plues 2 extreme cores times the upgrade lvl.
      - See Mr. Wormy's Table for all values.
      - Failing makes the bike Unable to Equip (repairable).

    • Added Bike Epic Resetting Scroll
      -Resets a bike's craft to a normal bike ( If you get a low grade of craft, you can reset it to be a normal bike again, but I would do that AFTER you bought/made a new Epic Option Cube).


    • Added new Extreme Core (XC) and Extreme Core Pocket (XCP)
      - Added levels 11+12 (XC11 and XC12)
      - Added XCP (Unique): 100% chance to get XC10 and a low chance to get XC11
      - Added XCP (Premium): Same as Unique, but adds chance to get 1 or more XC12
      - Added XCP (Normal): Gives 1 random XC1-XC7 (Buyable from NPC Chloe for 10m if you do not want to request craft or cannot)


    • Chaos Enhancement System --- Added New Minesta's Chaos Belts
      - Minesta's Chaotic Belts are upgradeable only with the new chaos enhancement system.
      - If fails, the belt breaks.
      - Upgrade from +0 to +15.
      - 3 types:
      - Guardian: HP, Def, Res Rate, Res CD, Res Amp, DMG Reduc.
      - Fighter: HP, S. Atk, S. Amp, CD, Accu, and Penetration.
      - Sage: HP, M. Atk, M. Amp, CD, Accu, and Penetration.
      - Some stats cannot be gained until high enough upgrade lvl ( Mr. Wormy has a wonderful table that shows all the stats gainable).
      - Chaos Cores are gained from the Request Craft system.
      - Required Amity lvls are: 4500, 5500, 6500, 7500, and 8500.
      - Output of requested crafts are: 1, 3, 5, 7, and 10 cores respectively.
      - Requires Piece of Chaos which are gained from mob drops to craft.



    • Mergaheph's Ring:
      - Reduced to require only 25 Sealed Cores instead of 50

    • Leth's Tyrant Ring:
      - Now drops as tradeable in a sealed form (similar to Killian's Lymbic Tonsil)

    • New Item Shop Item: Oath of Soul:
      - Gives target user 100% of your AXP for 1 hour

    • Wexp Cubes updated to match current all-amp and Top-Epic crafts.
      - Now has the over crafts (8% amp, 18% cd, 9% cd, etc.).
      - No longer amp specific: labeled All Skill Amp.




    2. War Changes and Additions
    • Long awaited: Re-added Guardian's.
      - Only for T5 levels (170-190)
      - Based on Scores for the week and selected on Monday at midnight.
      - 1 for each class, for each nation (except Bringer) for a total of 12
      - Guardian Title: Luminosity (Cap) or Storm (Proc) Guardian.
      - Options:
      - HP +600
      - Res Rate 12%
      - Res CD 24%
      - Res Amp 6%
      - Res Root, Down, Knockback, and Stun 30%

    • New Scoring formulas.
      - Certain stats can add more score based on: some party buffs, some debuffs, Aura, and BM
      - Gain score from successful Evades and Blocks (Miss and Block)
      - Building Res Towers adds score (I do believe that all towers do, but unsure if they're still alz-only based earn score)
      - Each Class now has different formulas how they gain score to reflect how they perform normally in war This will make all the classes earn score at a similar rate)

    • Mission War Compensation (Reward).
      - Minimum scores required to earn a reward are changed, increasing per tier:
      - T1 = 30, T2 = 35, T3 = 40, T4 = 45, and T5 = 50
      - A score of 1501 or more will earn 218 Wexp instead (plus additional for Premium services)
      - A score of 1480 or more earn additional AXP up to a maximum of 100m (10AP)
      - A score of 600 or more will have their Alz Spending in war compensation increased to 9.8% returned at end of war (applies only to alz spent on HP and SP packs during war)



    3. Guild Additions

    • Guild Ranking System:
      - Guild ranks are applied in Mwar and are server-based.
      - Ranks are based on Guild Score:
      - Sum of the top 2 score players for each class in guild who join MW for T5 Only
      - Total limit of 12 scores added (2 for each class) (T5 Only).
      - A Conversion Penalty is applied for 3 weeks for all guilds in the top 10 ranks.
      - The penalty is only 94%-99.4% of their total scores (multiply score by 0.94-0.994) instead of the full 100%. (Enables more than 1 guild to become Rank #1 easier for more competition).
      - Updated weekly on Monday at midnight server time.
      - Only the top 50 guilds will be listed on the rankings: viewable via the guild menu (lower right button in guild page)
      - Rank Benefits:
      - #1 Guild able to adjust the AH fee:
      - From 4-6% once every 48 hours, up to 3 times a week via NPC Bodyguard Hursurf next to AH.
      - Guild must have a total of 15,000 or more points to do this.
      - New AH fee rates are applied at midnight of the day it is changed
      - All tax from the AH is mailed to the Guild Master up to a limit of 500m alz per day up to 3 times a week (1.5b max per week)
      - #1 Guild earns up to 100m alz per day from ALL in-war HP and SP packs purchased from NPC. Alz is sent to the Guild Master.
      - Some of the top 10 guilds gain a bonus 10% Wexp for a week (reset Monday @ midnight)
      - Randomly 3-10 of the top 10 guilds are given a Potion of Luck mailed to the Guild Master (currently worth 200m, but may change)




    4. Dungeons

    • VC
      - Removed SEH from some chests.
      - Adjusted cores and SEH drop rates.

    • FT1
      - Mob/boss Exp is doubled.

    • FT2AW ( FT2 Awakening Mode)
      - Altered to allow 7 party members instead of only 4.
      - Increased difficulty.
      - Removed Forcium drops.
      - Increased Archridium drop rates to include those with filled slots as well.

    • EoD3
      - Increased drop rates.
      - Removed Forcium drops.
      - Increased Archridium drop rates to include those with filled slots as well.

    • Added new dungeon: Forbidden Island Awakened Mode (FIAW)
      - Lvl 140+
      - Allows all 7 party members.
      - Duration: 1 hour.
      - Reward: 8 DP and 20k Honor.
      - Requires Special Lost Island Compass:

      - Acquired via Request crafting like FT2AW with same costs and method.
      - Limitations: 10 Odd Circle/Superior Odd Circles, and 50 Veradrix's Protections.




    5. Compensation System

    • Compensation UI is the new dungeon entry UI
      - First Tab is the Compensation.
      - Top box is the normal dungeon reward.
      - Bottom box is the Circulated Compensation reward.
      - Second Tab is the dungeon Rankings.
      - Circulated Compensation:
      - More runs of the same dungeon will earn a better reward.
      - Reset daily at midnight server time.
      - 2 Runs = Free 1day char-bind entry (another daily entry basically for that dungeon).
      - 5 runs = Legendary Cube: opened for chance at same drop rates as that dungeon Legendary Chests.
      - 10 runs = Option Scroll Cube (High/Highest): Same concept as the EoD3 daily cubes, based on dungeon for the H or HH reward.
      - Dungeons able to be compensated:
      - AoS1
      - AoS2
      - IC
      - IC2
      - FI
      - FIAW
      - FT2
      - FT2AW
      - MO
      - EoD3
      - DX Hard or Premium
      - Special Saturday and Sunday Compensation.
      - Gives Legendary Chest on 5th, 10th and 15th runs. And Option Scroll Cube H/HH.

    • Added 2 NPC's: Compensation Dispatcher
      - Proc's is Rasha, located in DS near warp.
      - Cap's is Aiderial, located in GD near NPC Yul.
      - Non-Nation character's cannot access.
      - They sell War related gears (Vital Gears and such) and Wexp Cubes (All the armors and Rune cubes)




    6. Skill Changes and Additions
    • Add new skill effect for WI BM3 Elemental Barrage:
      - M. Amp Up starting at 104% for lvl 1, +1% per lvl
      - CD inc starting at 104% for lvl 1, +1% per lvl

    • Other BM Skill changes:
      - BL: BM3's A/B S. Amp value is changed to 80% (base lvl)
      - FS: Range of Normal Attack in BM2 is increased by 1 (to 2)
      - WA: Change duration of A/B Axe Attack animations
      - WI: Same as BL's

    • Piercing Spell stats raised per level from 2 to 4

    • Skill duration tooltip now displays with 1 decimal number.






    7. Miscellaneous
    • Tooltip display change for skills:
      - Altered all -X% skills to be a multiplying instead (ex: Bloody is -60% is now shown as x40%).

    • HP bars altered:
      - Yellow for Mobs.
      - Red for Aggressive Characters (pvp mode).

    • Battle Style Level Up Quests updated:
      - Altered BSLVUP 70+ quests.
      - See Mr. Wormy's Post for Sept. 11th patch notes for a complete list.

    • +15 items with extreme Upgrades show up in the AH now.

    • Items “Unable to Equip” are now un-extractable.
      - "Sealed” items are also un-extractable.

    • “Block” shows up on top of all other hits as priority.

    • Skill Exp gained is increased by 150% (speeds up skilling time taken)

    • Added new Upgrade Point System:
      - When you fail to upgrade something, you will earn points towards success.
      - Higher upgrade fails give more points.
      - Superior and Enhanced Cores give more points.
      - Each consecutive fail increases the points. (Basically it'll prevent you from using up like 10 SGH to +15 from +12)
      - Once you succeed upgrading, the points are reset.
      - Points last only 3 hours.

    • New Buddy Bonus system:
      - The more buds you got online, the more bonus you will get.
      - Higher level buds give more points
      - Buds with Premium and Platinum services will give more points.
      - More points give more benefits up to 250
      - See Mr. Wormy's blog for the table about the benfits (See Ep 10 Cabal Expansion VIII released notes)




    This Concludes the compiled notes for Episode 10. Looking forward to seeing it in-game before 2014 hopefully.

    And Rank 1 G is getting richer, I'm sure more people will quit
