Well, firstly this is the general section of the forums. There's a Technical Issues section for this related topic. That error is not even exactly cabal related. It looks like an installer issue, that the cabal client may be using. Try looking at this: http://nsis.sourceforge.net/Why_do_I_get_NSIS_Error
