i'm not even sure what your concern is anymore. at first you're like omfg c2 gonna make a bunch of rich people on c1 to quit and the c1 people r just gonna leave their alz rotting in their warehouses. then you're like oh, that's not a big issue?
but there are obvious things i should point out that you don't seem to realize.
i HIGHLY doubt any person who has played for half a decade would simply let alz rot in their warehouse; they'd obviously try to sell it for usd.
also, there was and always will be bots that farm crafting mats/story quests for alz. likewise, there will always be people who buy alz from said bots.

Bike market is only for the old,famous,glamorous rich players.
I was referring examples of steady sales on the side they do, that ends up to new players to help them progress or make them keep interest/hope in game.

I want ppl to realize that asking alz and items trade will reduce the negative impacts on economy. Ppl focus too much on alz. It's vital to keep an active auction house. I respect the ppl accepting trades. Its a "greener" way to sell.

So that they save that alz in a locked warehouse and going
to play C2.
Alz will remain there sitting duck and will be removed from the economy.
They will leave C1 for an undetermined period and say "might come back and will reroll to something else.".

I say. You guys stop regret your fail builds and keep your trash in your char slots. Economy needs to flow and the alz must not stay stale somewhere unaccessible.

If you stop to play. Fine, just stop.
But if you plan on rerolling "when you come back", why not ask for your next class piece of gear for trade? when selling toon.

The gazillionaire that logs twice per year only for major events is already enough.
