It's not everyone's cup of tea. Player base in the millions though dunno if it really is around 20m registered players as IGN reported but it's quite the number.

This game needs to earn the revolution of action title it once held.

Yeah Destiny's core gameplay is flawless. The grind addiction and co-op play is up to Halo's quality and takes it to another level with intense fights and bosses.

It's just what covers around it that affects his image.

I never played myself.

Believe it or not, but controversies around paid DLCs and weak content at start, are subtle ways to advertise the game in the end.
They want the players to see if the rants are true or content is poor so they will buy it.

There's a lot of skills in Destiny I heard that comes in play.

We should never say a game is garbage only from what we heard. If anyone would pass me a controller, and make me play the game, I'd try it out for sure.
