    An error has been detected by the hacking protection system.

    Does anyone know how to fix this?

    I got that a couple of times. Word of Advice: turn off them 3rd party programs

    Specifically what 3rd party programs? I practically have nothing but Cabal and Firefox on.

    GameGaurd pretty much thinks EVERYTHING is meant to hack >_> just pretty much turn off everything that it could possibly think is a hacking program.

    I had that come up while waiting for the gate to fall in CA, all I had open was Ventrilo.

    awsome i had this problem but i saw that i had xtrap folder in my cabal folder so i deleted it and i dont have this problem any more.

    It's definately aast. alot of people have been having issues with avast and GameGaurd. Guess it's time to switch, buddy, lol.

    Okay, so, before i uninstall avast, anyone got any recommendations for what I should replace it with? Something free preferably
