Weapon Choices

Hey, I have played since OGP and I have noticed a recurring thing.
An amazing shortage of weapon choice, I mean, Katanas, Blades, Greatswords, and Daikatanas are cool and all but would it hurt to add a few new weapon categories like Thief Swords or Daggers?
I think more weapon variety would make the game more popular.
Please feel free to add weapon ideas of your own too.
