    It may be cheaper but remember that buying things from NPC's removes alz from circulation.

    If you pass alz along to other players they are inclined to spend it and the machine keeps moving. If you buy UCH from an NPC that alz goes poof...gone and will only hurt us all in the long run.

    I am surprized they present this as a "treat" for us players.
