Why won't my dang MOUSE MOVE!

So i haven't played cabal in like 2-3 months since it, along with some other games wrecked my graphics card...Well I reinstall cabal and everythings fine. However when i reach the login screen the cursor wont move.. i mean if i get close enuf to the screen i can use the soft keyboard but otherwise i can't see where the cursor is pointing except by looking 4 an highlighted item...

does any1 else even have this problem...

Actually, this has an annoying tendency to occur right before my game begins to cease rendering objects. The cursor usually jumps directly to the center of the screen, and though it is actually still moving, it the only way to find it is to highlight something. Also, if I travel far enough after it has occurred, I will reach a point where my game has not rendered the map, and I will fall through the ground out onto a white background immediately before getting disconnected. I'm looking in to fixes for the issue, but everything I have tried so far has not worked. I will post back if I fix it.
