Gameguard issues

I have this EXACT same problem on my laptop with Norton. However, the programs on this laptop are almost identical to those on my desktop which can run Cabal without any issues (Also has Norton). Ive tried multiple things with the GameGuard folder but no success so far. I've added cabal to the exclusion list for the Firewall/Antivirus. Anyone have other ideas?

I'm being disconnected often because of issues with GameGuard.

I've already allowed CABAL and GameGuard through my firewall. I've already reinstalled once with no success.

I'm wondering what I can do now so I won't have this problem again.

I have Norton.
