the "wings" are your lats, and the wide push ups is actually more outer chest than those muscles, if they want to work their lats they should work on pulls ups (the reason why im saying "work on pull ups" is because they probably cant do any yet :/) and the diamond is more for inner chest and, yes the back of your arm (the tricep)
