Okay thank you so basically some skills have AoE. What is the exact meaning of AoE? It is an acronym I assume. Anyways some skills with AoE hit way more when you are closer to the boss or monster?

Area of effect. 99% Of skills are AoE, even some buffs. There's also different types of AoE like pierce and such


Pierce= Person A tries to hit monster E, but monster B,C,D are in the way in a line. A shoots say, an arrow or a lance skill(A is obviously a magic class)
It looks like this, D being damaged.
