That makes absolutely no sense...."Oh yeah,we're gonna give you guys a 100% drop rate for all maps and dungeons for the 4 day weekend.......everywhere except undead ground".....kind of makes you wonder what they're hiding in there from the players,maybe cr+2's and rol+2's?.............doubtful yes,But I mean how hard is it for a ring that a level 53 can wear to drop for players to use right?

rol+2s and cr+2s used to drop in troglo .... and troglo is no more... as for the other rumored spots i cant say anything but troglo is the only place i've dropped both.

That's because EST is putting more effort into keeping players weak so they're forced to go to the cash shop for sig-metal weps

The day armor and other items are in the cash shop is the day i will no longer be playing this game.If that ever happens.the sigmetal weapons is bad enough.

I think that's what pisses me off the most about the future of cabal and makes me glad there are new and better free to play mmo's coming out that aren't cutting corners for a buck,I'm tired of busting my ass to only end up as a semi-average player with semi-average gears....but eventually you won't have too,you'll just be able to buy it all in cash shop with usd every 30 days and you have end-game gear
This game has so much more potential for accessories and gear and Cabal ends up selling itself short because of it's unavailability from the game or because it doesn't even exist,like why not make rol+3's,4's and 5's? for 20,25 and 30% rate?,same thing for cr's,Where's the Bracelet of Guardians for the pve'rs?,how come there's only 1 or 2 deathblow gloves and suits in circulation yet we can't professionally craft them?

They should have earrings with some form of ATK / mATK or Amp or CDI or something, but all we have are lame vamp earrings and guard earrings for pvp / pve. (all the other earrings are COMPLETELY useless).

Idea. The vamp earrings would be incredibly more useful if they had % HP Steal instead of Max HP Steal. This would free up ring slots for pve which obviously = more damage / less potting and dying.

you can still go to troglo if you have a card. I have 30.

That's why they should have the +3,4 and 5 rol's and cr2's,we're so limited in the way we can build out characters that everyone gets on a "one way only or you fail" mindset when it comes to builds that people forget about other stats that come into play like increasing your flee rate so high to where you wouldn't even get hit at all

Long ago in ancient times.. i heard cr+2s and rol+2s droped from that mini boss in FGR.. scorpion one... not Virulent Cauda the other :o
How about we take this maintenance tonight as a chance to INCREASE THE NUMBER OF CHANNELS PER SERVER so that people actually have a place to grind during this event kthx.

Cabal is an incredibly good addictive game it has a unique twist to it that makes it different then all the other mmos but sadly the hosts for most versions simply su ck. Also Cabal isn't an EST original game which may hint why most of the new mobs are usually just a skin redo that any normal person cud do(and why the events and stuff aren't so complex and creative.... and many other things) but yea. Main point is bad devs/hosts can ruin any game.

Agreed...Cabal can be very addictive and fun to play........for awhile,but then all the negative aspects begin to outweigh the positives at an alarming rate,once you look past the flashy skills and unique fighting system the game looses it's luster and you notice it's just another money trap on the internet,In all honesty,I'm done trying to defend the game and my choice to play on a regular basis to my friends and family,At first I told everyone about Cabal and said that they should start playing.....now they're lucky to even get an enthusiastic "eh"

haha i read this sumwhere and i totally agree... basically cabal is an online casino almost every single aspect of the game is pure luck but a little tweaking of drop rates and pay outs to people who actually put money into something (crafting) and it wud still be decent

rol2 dropping in ug is a myth, they drop in PL, i bought 1 off a random noob for a blue bike back in the day right after he found it...
besides..100% drop rate for an item that has like a .001% chance of dropping doesn't really improve it by much :)

The problem with the game is that it is designed around a much higher player base. Korean CABAL has over 8 servers and they're still adding new ones which goes to show that they're population is only increasing. When you have tens of thousands of players, tons of channels, people grinding all the time, these asinine drop rates start actually producing results. Then you have our CABAL which probably has (I'm being generous) 1,500 active players, half of which just sit in town half the time they're playing. This results in only a small population of players having lots of money, thus being able to buy themselves all the best gear that has dropped.
tl;dr This game is designed for more players.

Thats why I have more or less quit. Ive moved to a game that has an event every week and an event every weekend. Ive gotten tired of Cabal being the same shiit every time I log on. It gets boring

no, last war was 6am pst 10-8-10 tyvm.
and the event started 6hours before that so it should have applied to the midnight and 6am war (PST).

For all you ppl wondering why its not for UG: What is the one place you can merg rings? EoD. Where is the one place EoD drop? UG. Don't ask me why, but for some reason they figured that bcs merg rings are special and rare/ quest driven that they shouldn't temper wiht the dungeon entry drop rates. That's my best assumption which makes sense.
Aside from that, why is there no wexp bonus during/ after war itself still?

Drop rate is the rate which items actually drop from mobs. Since the merga ring drops from a chest (already drops an item 100% of the time) there is no difference.

hm, you also forgot to mention , UG is farmed by AoE hackers and bot all day 24/7 :D
