View Full Version : Can't login...Please close the game to recive the update?!

Hello,
I started to have a problem this morning. Whenever I try to login a window pops-up saying (Please close the game to recive the update). It was fine yesterday T_T
OS: windows 7
Things I've tried:
*Reinstalling the game.
*Restarting the PC.
*running cabal as Admin.
*Disableing the anti-virus. (macaffe)
*checking files via the luncher.
when I did the Files check I started to get another issue : Cabal.eng is corrupted
any solution for this problem?
plz help >.<

*Made a shortcut for cabalman.exe and added husky
*Made ERL files read only
Still same problem.
I tried deleted Cabal.enc and then hit check files again...went to Cabal folder to check the file and its there but in diffrent size...hit start game now it says Caz.enc not found or corrupted...I will keep doing this and see what happens.

i said do them in order. So ignore that and do this:
1. go to your anti-virus settings and uncheck the box that says "Launch on Start-up".
2. restart your computer.
3. run cabal manually with the Cabal.exe file in ur cabal folder.
4. it will update.

Im getting this error too. Tried reinstalling the game about 10 times now, followed all the steps iNub posted in order a few time too.
However, i am getting an error like this every time i try to start up the updater through Cabal.exe:

I have tried running with different compatibilities in properties and with Admin.
Also downloaded the manual updater directly from the site to see if it could update.
It did, and im still getting the "Program will now close to Update" after i log in.
