View Full Version : Xfire not tracking cabal play time

Hi GM and Everyone,
Both my friend and I run Xfire while playing Cabal but Xfire doesnt track the game play time. Anyone has a suggestion we can try would be greatly appreciated! I notice these:
-Xfire can detect Cabal. We both use win 7. We set up Firewall options to allow cabal to run through.
-When you start the game, during the loading screen,
the Xfire will detect the Cabal. But when you reached the log-in screen,
the Xfire cannot detect the Cabal anymore.

My xfire constantly shows that I'm running cabal, but the website doesn't show me spending any time on it.

Same issue, it logs the time played only up to the login menu. Beyond that it stops tracking game time. Not sure how to fix it because the other games I play track the gametime perfectly.

It's most likely some problem with GameGuard.
prolly cuz gameguard blows nuts

same here, im logging 20+ hours and it shows i've played just 1 hour. Xfire shows that im playing Cabal tho.

I'm having the same problem. I try to fix it by redetecting the game. Now Xfire recognize that I'm playing cabal, but the version of it is CABAL Online (Europe) even though the path lead to cabal na

Nope, it's xfire's problem. I've been playing black ops with it running, doesn't show any time for that either.

thats dumb, i better not miss out on the prizes because xfire is being gey....Xfire works fine on an average day, but not when theyre part of an event...

I'm having the same problem. i'm launch cabal na succsess but always notice on the website, but played less than an hour cabal...
Same here, i downloaded it since i saw the Gm spamming on the screen , and had it run and stuff, and its show me only 1hour of playing wtf...

If you want to Join a Xfire P2W event, please follow below directions
Here is how.
STEP 1:
Launching CABAL Game
STEP 2:
Log in to your Xfire user account
STEP 3:
Join the Official CABAL Community (http://www.xfire.com/communities/officialcabal18112010/) on the Xfire Web CABAL P2W Event Site (http://www.xfire.com/cms/xf_cabal_p2w/)
STEP 4:
Play CABAL with running Xfire. You become eligible for different prizing categories depending on your play time as follows:
YOU MUST JOIN THE OFFICIAL COMMUNITY AND HAVE XFIRE RUNNING IN ORDER FOR YOUR GAME PLAY HOURS TO BE TRACKED.

GM Sky, you are not listening. Please note that the people experiencing problems have done everything you have said. It appears as if xfire is glitching for some reason. For me, it shows that i'm a member of the Cabal Online clan, but still isn't registering hours. I have previous hours logged from playing cabal, but none since the event has started. I really hope the people experiencing problems aren't missing out the event.

and to GM Sky: we both follow EXACTLY your instruction/directions from the start!!!!!!!!!! THATS THE FIRST THING WE MAKE SURE WE DO IT RIGHT!!!!! and tysm everyone! since my last post, i saw ppl response/reply to my post, and more posts around abt how xfire and cabal don't work so well with each other! I really hope that GM can do something about this or else GM should give everyone of us the prize for being so patient with you guys =P

it started kicking in for me, although showing 'Cabal Online' like for EU rather than the usual 'Cabal Online: Revolution of Action', but that seems to be the same for everyone else.
I give up on this event. I've done everything I could to make the thing record but it doesn't do crap. Xfire blows >_>
Exactly , from what i see here this is not for ANYONE a chance to win , but to the "lucky" ones that doesn't have X-Fire glitched or w/e !
So instead of making such events , you should first make sure that works for ALL players , not making it almost impossible !
Or make it run with Steam since Steam > Xfire ~.~

Yeah, I'll just be taking my Krystal Rw3 bike now kthx.
But for real, I don't know if the hours are stacking up or what. I know 7k+ days aren't possible in a week, but it shows up like that for some reason. I've also been stuck at 26 or 29 hours total somewhere I saw.

that's the total of all players. Also, X-fire has 2 different Cabal Online: Cabal Online (which is the EU version) and Cabal Online: The Revolution of Action (the NA version)

WHOOO it finally shows my time..... try what the guy does in the video somewhere around in these forums, the only difference is i put cabal: the revolution as automatic and i put cabal online as manual. i think the guy does it switched around either way just try it if u have not done it already

I had Cabal Online: The Revolution of Action set to automatic, and had the regular "Cabal Online" set to never detect. After switching "Cabal Online" from never detect to manual it started working with my status FINALLY at Cabal Online: The Revolution of Action.
