looks more like a simple change in the fx files. not a glitch. and y pick +7 as the change? y not +8 looks cooler.

na it happens to me as well, its not replacing the effects...i think i recall another thread about this as well, it happens as u log in, seems to go away for me, after i switch maps or some...if they not lying on the ground before i log in, it never happens, they drop normal looking..
