It's all luck, some people get it at 1 some at 20, there are people in EU after a couple hundred runs finally got it.

Sometimes I feel that I never started the actual quest. Since usually when you press 'T' it'll tell you what you need to obtain. Instead it just says to talk to the alchemist, which you can't do.

good thing i stocked up eod before the update (didnt no u hav to run eod to get the ring), like 100 of them, hopefully i get one before dat O.o 1.5m eod LMAO

You talk to the core alchemist once, i noticed this message in lower right hand cornor, You do not have the item to complete quest, im assuming once you talk to her once, then you need to farm the evil spirit ring, then bring that to her and shell continue. If you already talked to her once, youll get this message in lower right hand cornor basicly notifying you that the ring is needed to continue(go farm it lol)
