jesus, with all the complains about random rollbacks you would think people would learn.
heres what you do.
1. press esc
2. press change character
3. press back. (gee, you didn't d/c.)
4. re-enter your password
5. choose the channel you wanted
6. enjoy continuing to keep your gear

Or you could just lock up your and not play until the gm's come back and fix everything like I recommended after the fourth emergency M/A,It's christmas time,go pull the beards off of shopping mall santas in front of large groups of children to pass the time

well it was just a helpful hint to people that do want to play. regardless its very possible that a large scale rollback may be initiated when the gms finally get on to realize the issues. people should keep that in mind

its funny that u say that this method will prevent u from gettnig a rollback...because i got a rollback doing this way for logging in and out a few hours ago

well im sorry, but havent had anyone i know have any issues using this yet. but ive seen all kinds of issues with people going back to server select or trying to use the ch change because it d/c's them every time

from what ive been hearing, this isnt 100% either. i smell another rollback, or a huge loss of players. oh well guys. if you want to be safe, take a few days off. i dunno what else to tell ya.
doesn't matter if u switch or not. if u get d/c u can lose ur sh!t too. my gloves just poofed.

well my whole point was that you don't d/c when you use this method. but apparently its not mattering if you d/c or not. which makes absolutely no sense what so ever. but i guess the safest bet is to not even log on.
