Account, item, alz, mass of players who got hacked..please help !!

i am calling out to those people who got their accounts, items and alz hacked !!

i need to compile a list of threads regarding to this matter !!

I'm pretty sure most of people that claim they got hacked on Cabal are lying. I mean, it's basic logic: 1. All Cabal accounts have passwords. Passwords are required. 2. If you follow the rules, no one but you knows you're password. 3. You need you're password to log into your account. This is obvious because it almost always asks for it when you try to log on. So, assuming you follow the rules, you really can't get hacked. Edit: I suppose ESTSoft could add the option of a sub password; a smaller, easy to remember password for extra security, but even that is a stretch.

o.O idk if u're talking about me, but i have Subpasswords for WH,invent, and normal, and i do follow the rules , acc has not been shared no1 should know my pass nor my user, and second if u're going to say, why didn't you just put ur subpassword on , well here's the thing i Disconnected While i was on, so did i get the time? no, and i'm sure i'm not lying cause i did have 1B and now i'm back to 80M, thus concluding why the crap would a hacker take the 1B but not all the money?...And yeah, maybe it can be a glitch who knows.... Idk if GM's are going to do anything, so still hopeing for my ticket to be answered, Honestly if theyhad a Camera on ur acc telling them your history and seeing what is being traded etc, then it'd be so much easier for them to see who's telling the truth and who's lying.

OH and if it's so easy to stop the hackers, then why the crap do people in real life still get hacked? Did you know 2010 ijji got hacked by a group of people? (ijji ~ game website where they have their own engine, but their programmers fail and blocking the problem , took around a couple of hours to a couple of days to fix) And all the gamers that play on ijji were mad and blah blah... But yeah, just cause a GM tells u that if u follow these rules,not everything is perfect, you can't just create a hack free game... like W.O.W they're advance cause they're building their security by the money they get, but some day or sometime soon some1 will find a way to hack into the servers...

A player starting with nothing > gaining the persons email, name birthday, possibly uploading a keylogger to trick the person into dling > figuring ID via cabal.com and test IDs (it tells which are currently in use as u type them :) ) and finally gaining access to the account/email. Yep its a long and boring process and i doubt anyone cared enough to "hack" into the servers or something, your dreaming because dont you think they would giv 2 shi.ts bout a acct with 1b alz....if they were serious they would take the most known accts and empty them..jesus its logical sense... just sayin

thanks for the reply guys..i just cant see any thread like this here..also got same problems..a friend of mine even experience to be hacked while at Illusion Castle..
then a few weeks later, he almost got hacked again!! if he got hacked that time it sums up to 3 cases of his 2 accounts getting hacked by whom we dont know !!

my reason is simple..i'm trying to compile this kind of incidents to compare how are people getting hacked and the movements of the hacker.
so that every one will know that the players aren't hacked by some people who uses something or farther than that..
others says that it is us, the account owner, is responsible for there account's security.not knowing the fact that there are really hackers roaming around different official servers of cabal, hacking items, alz and even accounts.
that is my plan..to find out how they've done that kind of sh*t..its ruining the cabal official servers economy !

im still waiting, i dont see anyone whos been "hacked", they all compromise their own accounts, you really think if someone had access to the server/database they would target you over someone who has 10x that in gear and who knows how much alz in inv.... it dont sound logical to me

What do you think? EST dont look into them for that possibility unless a certain amount of alz/item is lost? Thats not true either, nor logical. Im not saying you downloaded a keylogger, im saying thats how generally a persons account is compromised; far short of being "hacked", you dont have to visit a website, just accepting a song ect can have the files joined together, just as an example.

sigh..well i know ur point..a friend of mine was hacked also..cause they are 100% sure that no one know their account infos, he didn't put any subpassword, also, they are playing in their houses..no pilots or what so ever !! but mind you those guys only possess mithril armor set, 1 slot, from head to foot w/ no epic at all..about but still he got hacked !! how do you explain that ?? another incident we experienced, my friend is hunting at IC then he got DCed while inside the dungeon, after the DC, his character got back after being DCed realizing that he is still in a party !! his party members was shocked because he went straight to BI and dropped all of his items !! how do you explain this as well..this are 2 different examples !! so please answer this ^^

yeah..u are correct snowz..why do we care so much about the game..well as far as i know..this game made players to suffer..they are totally wasting time but they did invested something in game,but there comes a group of high ranked hackers,hacking players..ruining the economy,leaving them with no answers..is that fair enough for those who got hacked ? what i want is just help..answers to my questions coming from players who experienced same situation just like me !! i really dont care about GMs answer..maybe from your answer,i may find the exact answer that will satisfy me to stop nagging around..
