Is it possible to take out a force core upgrade?

extend and failed the 2nd/3rd slot and you will lose the slot before it. (not sure about the 2nd)

I'm not quite sure I follow. I got this shadow steel katana with 16% crit and decided to force core upgrade the 1 slot it has. I got a really crappy 50 attack ratting on it and was wondering if I could either take that out to reroll it or is it permanent :P.
I'm fairly new to this game so I apologize if I don't know what you're trying to tell me.

no, you can't undo it. Try using catalyst when slotting it so that you can get what you want. There should be a guide somewhere about slotting items on the forum.
