why Dex>Str for fb?

why is dex better than str? and also why not make them close to even?
i have a noob fb so i just wanna know.

STR FB only gives 4 more attack than dex(FB) and Dex(FB) give's overall more stats like def magic for ur bm1,atk rate def rate etc...
