Try deleting your gameguard folder if restarting fails. :o

its because your gameguard is not starting correctly. you have anti virus program? probably why; one way to solve is to clean boot, or just disable service of anti virus in services tab
Example: "Windows update" service is what im using, but you can just locate your anti virus service, open properties, and click Disable on the service, reboot so no kernel hooks for your OS, you should be ok after that, the other option is clean boot to close all unnecessary programs that could potentially cause program collision with gameguard...

google how to clean boot if you want to try that, or try gamebooster program i believe that does the same thing, for less experienced users....
