View Full Version : merg ring or 7/40helm? 50rate VS 50+?
Hello...i'm a lvl 140FB..i was wondering for future references..i would like to ask some fellow FB who are 170 or with knowledge of FB.. so here goes..forgive me if i'm not good :)
using merg ring.=52 rate( AOP+5+max crit rate rune lvl 3=55 rate.)
or
Using 7/40 osm helm+10.=50rate only.(AOP+5=50/52 rate.(i have no pet with rate.)
which of these would be considered the best choice for a lvl 170 FB+? while pvping someone with high honor rank example:honor rank 15+....
50 rate pvping honor rank 15=47rate will it be enough to crit? and end pvp?
55+rate pvping honor rank 15=i know it's more than enough.also i lose dmg for using merg ring.in exchange for a few rate.

I say that unless you can get 2 40/7 items, you're better off using a merg ring. ATM I have 55 rate, and if I get a max rate rune or gloves with max rate I'd have 58 (3% rate bonus from kred board). If I used a single 40/7 item, I'd have 50 rate and 14% more crit dmg. As far as I understand, 5 rate (potentially 8 rate) is way better than 14% crit dmg.
I see,so i guess merg ring or x2 40/7 or don't pvp people with honor rank 14+.

if you have 7/40 helm, cant u do: 7+15(lightning)+10(ice)+10(fire)+5(default)+3(boar d)+15(merg) = 65 rate?
assuming 40dmg blade/xtal: 40+40+40+20+45(3 cr2)+10(lightning)+5(ice)+10(board)+1(merg) = 211 dmg?
as for amp, lets say we have 2 bof3: 7+7+7+16+4(eof7)+5(board)+4(amp rune) = 50 amp?

Well yeah, but that will only work if you can get 65 rate. The question of the thread is 40/7 item vs merg ring, so that's kind off out of boundaries.
But anyways, I currently only have 55 rate. if I get max rate slot gloves and max rate rune, I'd still only have 61 rate in that setup. Still, I am using an aop+3 for more max rate, and if I ever get an aop+6, then I'd be loosing 1% more max rate. So in the end, unless I'd have a max rate crafted suit (and that's only 1%), I'd need 5% max rate in a pet, which is a long shot...
OK merg ring sounds like the best way to get more rate...
and what about 20CD VS 40 attack? also is 1000base good enough? or do i need to up it some more?

you gonna need that 7rate from the helm for bm1 i would get both =)
