Alienware Laptop

hey guys i have been debating getting one for a while now and a second opinion would be nice. Would it be worth getting the M14x series laptop or should i just call up my a friend of mine and have him help me build my own?

alienware is dell. dell I love you >.<♥I love you >.<♥I love you >.<♥I love you >.<♥s to be honest. Alienware is just an overpriced name. I suggest you look at something like IBuyPower or if going to build a PC not a laptop, use sites like Newegg, Meritline, and TigerDirect. I have an HP dv7, but it's not like high end. It can run most games now fine, but in the future maybe not. Building a pc yourself is always cheaper, but takes alot more time and research.
