Third Merg ring wtf

How is it possible :s. I finished the merg quest and i dont have a party :/.
Anyone else got their merg ring by using Debuff+board attack? lol

It drops regardless if you have the quest or not. I know some people that dropped 4 already just from soloing eod1

It took me 168 runs to get my ring, then within the next 30 runs I got 3 more... Luckily I was in a party 2 of those times.
