Cannot connect to server

Hi folks, i'm new to cabal, just downloaded the game and ran updates etc and when i get to the login screen it just hits me with, "unable to connect to server please try again later". Any help would be appreciated, i live in the UK so does that mean i would need to play the EU version or?

Looks like it's the EU version for me then, blows tbh, alot of my mates are from the US. Cheers anyway guys.
